Partner Toolkit
Our disseminators come from different disciplines and reach different corners of the country, connected by one goal: making educators’ workplaces healthy for everyone in them. This list is growing.
"For too long, educator wellbeing has been treated as a personal responsibility: a self-care day, a breathing exercise, a reminder to rest. The Educator Health Survey treats it as what it also is, a condition of the environments we build around teachers. You can't heal in a space that is quietly wearing you down."

"Every facilities director knows the classroom that's too hot, the unit ventilator that never keeps up, the building with one staff restroom down a long hallway. The teachers in those rooms know it even better, and most of them are women whose experiences have rarely been considered. This survey finally asks them directly, and better data leads to better decisions about how we fund, maintain, and operate our schools. NSPMA is proud to stand behind all of our women colleagues who give so much to our students every day."

School buildings have been studied for decades for how they affect students. This is the first national study asking what those same buildings do to the adults who work in them.
It is led by AREA Research in collaboration with Perkins&Will, and covers air quality, temperature, noise, lighting, restroom and lactation access, and how those conditions connect to educator health across a career. It takes 15–20 minutes, any question can be skipped, and it is open from October 5, 2026 through March 2027.
K–12 educators currently employed at a U.S. school who spend most of their working day inside a school building. Participants must be 18 or older and able to respond in English. Educators of all gender identities are welcome.
Share the survey with your network once or twice while it is open, using whatever channels you already have. That is the whole ask. There is no cost and no ongoing commitment.
We are not asking for member lists or contact information, and we are not asking you to endorse whatever the findings turn out to say. Educators decide for themselves whether to participate.
